Light fittings used in this project –
Nick Bell’s own 1860s Surry Hills terrace has been transformed into a light-filled family home that showcases the power of thoughtful spatial design. Set on a narrow 3.8-metre-wide site, the project expands a compact footprint into a highly efficient and carefully resolved living environment, prioritising natural light and functionality.
The restored pink heritage faรงade contrasts with a lush green living wall at the rear, creating a dialogue between old and new. Skylights, a void and custom joinery maximise space and light, while sustainable features including all-electric systems and solar power support a resilient inner-city home.
